Cryptopsy – Return from North American Tour – Release Statement – Flo Mounier to Conduct Drum Seminar
Montreal’s CRYPTOPSY have returned home after their North American tour supporting their new release “Once Was Not”. After 6-weeks of live performances that were said to have “left jaws permanently affixed to the floor” (Metal Maniacs) drummer Flo Mounier sent the following message to fans, “Good to be back from a long tour, which by the way, went fantastic. Nothing is better then touring with bands that get along so well and that have been friends for years; Despised Icon, Aborted, Vader and Suffocation, thank you all so much. What a brutal metal package, every night was a lesson in punishment. Hope you gals and guys enjoyed yourselves ’cause I saw these bands night after night and it was awesome every time. We’ll be back in 2006 for more pounding tours and to showcase Once Was Not. Till then…”
CRYPTOPSY, whose new album “rages with unparalleled force” (BW&BK), will tour Europe from late January to February before returning for another North American run.
Additionally, Flo Mounier will be conducting the drum clinic “Extreme Drumming 101″ at The Toronto Convention Center (255 Front St. W.) on Nov. 20 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Tickets cost $25.00 (Canadian).
