Armor for Sleep – Crush Competition in FUSE TV Voting
New Jersey-based quartet ARMOR FOR SLEEP has won a voting competition called OvenFresh on Fuse TV with their new video for “The Truth About Heaven.” The video beat out major artists GREEN DAY, SYSTEM OF A DOWN, THE DANDY WARHOLS and others by a landslide margin of over 20%.
The song “The Truth About Heaven” comes from ARMOR FOR SLEEP’s new album, “What To Do When You Are Dead,” which recently surpassed the 100,000 sales mark in October.
Directed by Alan Ferguson, “The Truth About Heaven” video follows the concept in the lyrical content of the song; a ghost, looking back on the people he has left behind.
The video was also showcased on November 2nd at the mtvU Woodie Awards in New York City when it was played alongside MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE to a packed Roseland Ballroom industry crowd.
