XXX Maniak – Jason Sidote wins Relapse Extreme Wing Eating Competition

XXX MANIAK co-frontman Jason Sidote won the first annual Relapse Records Extreme Wing Eating Competition, which was held to raise money for the Hurricane Katrina relief fund. According to a posting on the band’s Myspace page, “Jason competed against members of THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, CEPHALIC CARNAGE, INTO THE MOAT, TURMOIL, BRUTAL TRUTH, ROSETTA, and THE DREAM IS DEAD. Completely owning all three rounds of the competition, with 33 wings in the first round and 19 wings in the second round. The final round was against Jason and Shawn Riley of RUMPELSTILTSKIN GRINDER. The wings for the final round had habanero / pepper cap sauce on them and he dominated with 10 wings vs. Shawn’s two for a total of 62 wings in nine minutes!”
