Twelfth Gate – Sign to Season of Mist
After a long hot summer and much time spent in the studio, TWELFTH GATE have found a new home with Season of Mist!
Since the release of their critically acclaimed debut “Summoning” a couple years back (released on Crash Music), the band has been busy writing and growing as a force to be reckoned with. With the addition of ex-OPPRESOR guitarist Jim Stopper, the band has really stepped it up more than a few notches, & has produced an incredible follow-up!
The new material has retained their trademark progressive & thrash elements, yet has continued to grow and reach out in new directions, all the while keeping their metal edge razor sharp!
The new opus “Threshold of Revelation”, co-produced by genre vet Chris Djuricic (NOVEMBERS DOOM, ENFORSAKEN), is sure to be one of the very finest metal releases to come out next year, and for some time to come.
Not only are the folks at Season of Mist great fans of the band, there’s also been a steady flow of calls coming in with interest from the metal press & vendors anticipating this new release. We all expect great things to come from this new partnership, and know deep in our metal hearts that this release is sure to garner TWELFTH GATE the notoriety they so deserve.
