Drowning Pool – To Announce New Singer at Ozzfest Date – Continued Reports Indicate McCombs as New Frontman

DROWNING POOL have announced that they will reveal their new lead singer at the previously reported one-off main stage OZZFEST 2005 appearance in Dallas, Texas on August 25th. A statement on their official website reads as follows:

“Drowning Pool unveils their new lead singer at their Dallas Ozzfest Main Stage performance – Thursday August 25th at the Smirnoff Music Center”

Despite constant denials, as continually posted here on SMNnews.com for the past month, it is highly believed that former SOiL frontman Ryan McCombs is set to get the nod to replace the recently departed Jason ‘Gong’ Jones, and take over the reigns as the bands 3rd lead singer in as many years.
