Drowning Pool – Set to Perform on Ozzfest 2005 Main Stage in Dallas, TX
We can reveal that, much like SLIPKNOT in Los Angeles on August 20th, DROWNING POOL are also being tipped to make a special one off main-stage performance at this years OZZFEST 2005. The band has being slated to perform in their hometown of Dallas, Texas at the Smirnoff Music Center on August 25th alongside other notable main-stage acts such as BLACK SABBATH, IRON MAIDEN, MUDVAYNE, SHADOWS FALL, BLACK LABEL SOCIETY and IN FLAMES.
As previously reported, DROWNING POOL are currently demoing new lead singers down in Dallas, Texas in an attempt to fill the shoes of their 2nd vocalist, Jason ‘Gong’ Jones, who recently left the band citing “personal reasons”. One of the proposed candidates is former SOiL frontman Ryan McCombs, who is said to be one of three people vying for the position.
