SMNnews.com can reveal that former SOiL frontman Ryan McCombs is currently in Dallas, Texas recording demos to determine who will fill the shoes of the recently departed Jason “Gong” Jones in DROWNING POOL. Despite repeated announcements last Fall of McCombs’ family commitments and obligations which led to his untimely departure in Chicago based SOiL, it appears that his dramatic change of heart has landed him a slot as one of three candidates gunning for the open spot in DROWNING POOL. More news is expected over the next few weeks.
