OTEP – Show Shut Down in Lousville, KY – Determined to “Annihilate the Neophytes”

The Fire Marshall and local police were called in to close down OTEP’s Louisville, KY show at the Bulldog Cafe due to what was stated to be a “huge crowd”. With the crowd steadily growing all night, and reaching its peak as OTEP took the stage, the officials were finally alerted. Details from OTEP’s tour diary are below:

“even though this show only lasted 12 minutes & 47 seconds it was obvious to me that it was populated with one of the most intense & passionate audiences we’ve ever had the pleasure of experiencing .. if only we would have been able to play the entire set .. wow .. we would have shaken the foundations of the cosmos .. but the fire marshall was a complete communist & shut everything down.

but I was true to my word & wouldn’t leave the stage until the cops were called .. I kept singing until they forced us off the stage .. The fire marshal shut off the PA during My Confession but the audience kept singing .. Every .. Word.

It was amazing.

Then the biggest cop I’ve ever seen pulled evil j’s hand off his bass strings & crowded me saying “its over, its over” … So I saluted him…Saluted the crowd & then i was manuevered off stage & to the bus …

We will probably be fined & the cops are still outside the bus so who knows what will happen … But I know one thing for certain:

WE WILL RETURN, & TOGETHER, ANNIHILATE THE NEOPHYTES.”
